Dear MDM Family, friends, peers and soon to be members. I often question if I'm saying the right things or asking the right questions when speaking with potential clients. I know I'm sincere and truly trying to help but often times I forget the basics. The basics is what keep us on track when we have to cold call or go into a situation without an introduction. Have you ever gone on a cold call and got shut down immediately? Of course you have, we all have. The basics will help in cold call situations and just about any other social situation as well. How many of you have read Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends and Influence People? This book highlights what I consider the basics. If you haven't read this book and you enjoy reading, grab yourself a copy this week. If you aren't much of a reader and you want to save some time, I have included a link that highlights each chapter. If you don't read at all, I have included a video for your viewing enjoyment.
